Montblanc's pop-up event at Marina Bay Sands is a collaboration of two established brand names at the forefront of travel and mobility. For the Montblanc x Pirelli pop-up store, the design featured Pirelli’s yellow trademarks. The store was decked with features to reflect elements of the Italian brand’s primary business (tyre manufacturing) such as asphalt-inspired yellow vinyl stickers and artworks. To heighten the immersive experience, the pop-up store was framed with yellow lighting and other features to mimic the brand’s key aspects. The Montblanc x Pirelli pop-up store truly reflected the collaboration’s prominence and status.

The Key Challenges
A key challenge for this project was in convincing the clients to incorporate the colour yellow into the stark black structure. The end result however proved that it was indeed an excellent idea and combination, which alleviated the unique identities of both brands. It took 5 consecutive nights for completion including the remodelling of the ceiling to accommodate more light fittings, which enabled directional adjustments to highlight the displayed products and increased the overall illumination. Careful and meticulous attention were also given to ensure quality finish that is well-integrated into the overall pop-up structure.
